Officials say a retired MTA bus driver who was reported missing last week was found Monday floating in a Bronx pond. It is unclear how Robert Lane, 65, died. His wife, Carolyn Lane, 64, said he’d been having problems with a new heart medication. “He had a chemical imbalance. They said it was depression,” she said. “How could this happen? He said nothing.
